SUMMARY

South Florida GI Cancer Symposium has the goal of educating health care professionals on state of the art approaches in the management and treatment of patients with esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, liver, bile duct and colorectal cancers. The conference will have keynote addresses which will focus on targetable genetic abnormalities in GI malignancy and on immunotherapy combinations recently approved for these cancers.  

In depth, focused sessions will explore the latest data which supports current recommendations for treatment of esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, liver and colorectal cancer. Experienced clinicians will discuss cases which will provide examples for management of patients with complex diseases. Furthermore, special sessions will be devoted to targeted therapies for rare mutations in upper gastrointestinal malignancy as well as robotic approaches to their surgical resection.
